DTU Wind Energy is the world’s largest public research institute for wind energy.
The department is internationally recognized as being in the forefront of wind energy technology.

The key focus of DTU Wind Energy is to develop wind energy for the world. DTU Wind Energy does research and consultancy, as well as educate staff for working within the field of wind energy both nationally and globally. We create new technology and work with partners all over the world.

DTU Wind Energy has more than 250 staff members, including 150 academic staff members and nearly 40 PhD students. The department comprises 10 sections and 5 programmes, all working closely together.
