Opening of Bocconi's Urban Campus and Academic Year 2019/2020. The new complex was inaugurated in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella. The buildings on the new campus, with sinuous lines and characterized by transparencies that enhance the concept of openness, were designed by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa's Sanaa architectural firm in Japan. The project includes a residence hosting 300 students (that opened in August 2018), the four buildings that make up the new headquarters of the SDA Bocconi School of Management and a multi-purpose sports center, functional starting in the next academic year.
