President Wooten grew up in Philadelphia, learning from her father who was a clinical social work and her mother who was a teacher. President Wooten received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T State University, where she graduated as valedictorian. She earned her MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and she earned her PhD from the University of Michigan. As she describes, President Wooten went to college at 18 and never left. In this video, she shares how she developed a love of learning, which continues to this day.
